First Hand Reports from the Frontline?

Ever wonder what is going on in Iraq and Afghanistan? It has become increasingly difficult for news agencies to provide accurate details of what our troops are experiencing "over there". Furthermore, stories are told by newspapers or television journalists exclusively, ...until now. Released in Tuesday's paper, the announcement of The Sandbox at Doonesbury.com. This is a forum provided for anyone in the military to blog. A mil-blog of sorts. The blog entries I've read express concern for our military actions in Iraq and Afghanistan from the people who are in the trenches. Revealed is the disorganization, the confusion, and topped with the homesick stories in addition to the feelings of not being appreciated by the American public. It is happening now despite how involved each one of us is as individuals and, honestly, as this is a universal issue, we owe it to ourselves to at the very least take a look at the information that is being provided be in in The Sandbox or elsewhere. It can't be ignored.
(p.s. omg I added a picture to blogger! be proud!)
(p.p.s. how's that for substance?! u scolding blog-critic u!)
